The Central vs Eastern one day challenge was held on Saturday 25th May at Waipukurau Squash club. Unfortunately the normal 6 players per team was not possible due to Eastern having players pull out due to injury and illness. However, squads of 4 Ladies and 4 Men battled it out for the Newbigin Shield. After a couple of 5 setters the first round score was tied at 4 games each.

Stratford turned on the hospitality and warm courts for some hot doubles action over the weekend 19 - 21st April. Centrals Abbie Holes of New Plymouth proved she is the most successful women's doubles player in Central history taking the women's title for the 7th year running.
The 2024 Central Doubles will be on show in Stratford this weekend with some serious talent in the top draws its anyones game. A duo from Bay of Plenty are definitely one's to watch in the mixed Danny and Camden McQueen.
